Company Auditions 2025

We are excited to invite dancers from across the country to audition for a company position beginning in August/September of 2025. As a small company of just 6 professional dancers, we are currently looking for a female identifying dancer who is 5'6 or taller with a strong classical technique and skilled pointe work. Must be over 18 to apply. Materials can be sent in from January 1 - March 7. View the full audition requirements below.

Please note: dancers should NOT include their age or weight on resume. All applications and resumes go through a screening process before the Artistic Director sees them. Anyone who includes this info will be asked to re-apply without this information.

Applicants who are being considered for the position will be contacted by March 13 to schedule an interview with both the Artistic and Executive Directors. After these interviews, any final applicants will be flown to Grand Rapids and housed by Deos Ballet in order to attend an in-person audition during April/May - Deos will work around the applicants’ schedules and cover the cost of travel.

Position Description:

Year-round, part-time salaried position (no layoff periods)
Physical Therapy
Pointe and flat shoes covered
Performances year-round
Touring opportunities
Must be willing to relocate to Grand Rapids, MI
Start date: August 18 OR September 2, 2025

Headshot and dance shot
Resume
Letter of recommendation
Performance reel and/or class work showing:
- modern work, pointe (classical and contemporary), partnering
- Should not exceed 5 minutes
